Membership & Support

WatchDossier is an independent cultural journal focused on horology and contemporary watchmaking. It publishes essays, critiques, reviews, market analysis, and field reports written from a collector’s perspective and grounded in research.

WatchDossier operates without brand sponsorships, paid placements, affiliate commissions, or advertising. Editorial coverage is not purchased, influenced, or commissioned by manufacturers, retailers, or other commercial entities.

All editorial content follows the same access policy: articles are freely available for three weeks after publication. After this period, they are retained in the WatchDossier archive and are accessible to members.

Membership supports the continued production of longform editorial work and the maintenance of the archive.

Public access (first three weeks)

For three weeks after publication, the following sections are available to all readers:

  • The Field — Fairs, auctions, interviews, atelier visits, and watch reviews

  • Collector’s Room — vintage, historical, collecting and investment dynamics

  • The Dossier — longform essays and cultural analysis

  • Branding — strategic analysis of design, positioning, and economics

  • Newsletter — editorial insights delivered by email

After the three-week period, all articles are moved into the WatchDossier archive.
